1776 Libertas Americana 5 oz Silver Medal PCGS PR-70 Deep Cameo (2014 Restrike) Commemorating the 230th anniversary of the ratification of the peace treaty between the United States and Great Britain, the Paris Mint once again created a new issue of the infamous Libertas Americana medal. Coin Highlights: Contains 5 oz of .999 fine Silver. PCGS encapsulation protects and guarantees the PR-70 Deep Cameo condition of the coin. Obverse: Features the head of Liberty with flowing hair, facing right and a freedman's cap atop a pole in the background. Reverse: Depicts the infant Hercules, representing the United States, strangling two serpents. Minerva represents France and sits next to the infant as his nurse.
