Nick Deak was known as the “James Bond of Money” with a life story worthy of the comparison. As a vocal critic of the US dropping the gold standard in 1971, Deak decided to take matters into his own hands with Gold Standard Corporation to produce these limited 1/20th fractional gold coins likely because it is the perfect “five piece” for barter.
We have acquired 10 factory sealed strips of 10 1/20th gold coins for a total of 100 Nicholas L. Deak “Denationalization of Sound Money” mint untouched coins still in original seals Totaling 5 troy ounces of pure gold. Each coin has its denomination with “For Integrity There Is No Substitute” boldly written across the top. Made in 1980 just 5 years before Nick Deak was unfortunately assassinated in his New York headquarters in 1985.
